Make a 1930s doll quilt for your American Girl doll! These are 1930s reproduction fabrics from Kit's era. A collection of 1930's reproduction fabrics creates an old-fashioned look.
Sizes: Shown at 15"x15", this mini quilt fits an 18" doll, or makes a cute wall hanging.
Sewing rating: Beginner, first time sewer. Perfect for hand piecing if desired.
We use 'quilt shop' quality fabrics from Marcus Brothers, Moda, Robert Kaufman, Windham Hill, and others. Your exact prints may vary from what is shown in the photos, but will be in the same 1930s spirit and palette.
The pink and green quilts were hand quilted, 1/4" away from the seams.
The lavender quilt was handquilted, 'in the ditch', as quilters say. In other words, it was hand quilted in the seam line.
The blue quilt was tied with embroidery floss.
