Fabric by the Yard : Warm & Natural Cotton Batting

Our batting is Warm & Natural 100% cotton batting by The Warm Company. It is a very soft needlepunched, unbleached cotton that does not contain any chemicals, resins or glues. It can be quilted up to 8-10" apart. Unlike polyester batting, it will not 'beard', or come up through your quilting. It does not separate or bunch.

I tried 7 different battings, and I found this to be the best to work with for both hand and machine quilting.

Because it shrinks after washing, it gives your quilt a puckered look like an antique quilt. Or, prewash the batting for a smooth appearance.
